Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026. By using the DataCedar website, account, API, or data, you agree to these terms.
The service
DataCedar provides point-in-time public-company research records through a metered API. Available sources, history, and throughput depend on the plan and on the rights attached to each dataset. A listed endpoint does not promise that a rights-gated source is enabled.
Research data and accuracy
Data may be delayed, incomplete, revised, or unavailable. Coverage and provenance fields help identify gaps, but the service and data are provided “as is” without a guarantee of completeness, accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. DataCedar is not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
Acceptable use
- Protect account credentials and API keys, and stay within plan limits.
- Do not bypass access controls, probe other accounts, disrupt the service, or use it unlawfully.
- Do not resell, publish, or redistribute bulk data unless the applicable plan and source rights expressly permit it in writing.
- Do not represent validation-only or source-linked material as a licensed consolidated realtime feed.
Plans, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. Prices are displayed in US dollars. The configured payment provider processes payment details and applicable taxes. Cancellation stops future renewal while access normally continues through the paid period. Refund eligibility, if offered in the account flow, is subject to the displayed policy and non-waivable consumer rights.
Availability and changes
We may change sources, limits, features, or pricing to maintain security, reliability, and legal compliance. Material recurring-price changes apply to a future renewal with notice where required. We may suspend access for abuse, non-payment, security risk, or a rights obligation.
Third-party sources
Source records remain subject to their originators’ terms, licenses, and attribution requirements. DataCedar is independent and does not claim endorsement by the SEC, exchanges, data vendors, news publishers, or issuers.
